Off to the Botanical Gardens with my pal Bette, and her family membership. I’m so very happy to be part of the family! We had a great visit and enjoyed the orchid show, despite the crowds. We met at ten o’clock, just after the gardens opened, and the place was already packed. I gave up trying to shoot the name tags on every plant, grabbed quick photos of the plants and moved on, so there’s not much text in this post.

Staghorn fern

I think these are river birch. Thought they were gorgeous.

It was really early, early spring. Very little going on outdoors. We hope to get back to the gardens in a few weeks to see it all in bloom. Thanks for the opportunity to see all the orchids Bette and Nadine!
