I picked the rig up from Camping World in Kingston. Spent the rest of Saturday and most of Sunday cleaning it. A post-mechanic and pre-move-in deep cleaning. I even took it to a you-wash-it car wash, with an 11-foot-high bay. Oooh doggie, that's a very large thing to wash with a "foaming sudz' brush on a stick. But I know the winter road salt is totally washed off.
I guess I'll have to do it again after leaving my Lido Beach week out on Long Island near the kids. I am sure that after being parked right by the boardwalk, The Wee Beastie will be covered with wind-blown sand and salt spray. And I expect we'll track in just a bit of sand while I'm there. Actually, after a week at the beach one can expect to find sand everywhere, even in the fridge!
Only three more Fridays left, for me to wake up and be happy that it's Friday. Because I expect to wake up and be happy for every day!
